Ok, I’ve been a while thinking about how to not doing this video too long But nevermind, if it’s too long just watch it in two parts We have two G&G CM16 Raider 2.0 but I don’t want to do just a replica review the channel is always full of M4s and I don’t want that shit anymore Yes, we’ll talk about the Raider 2.
0, but I’ll tell you whi this M4 is special Our experience with this brand and we’ll talk a bit about Capsule Airsoft TBT to the early days As we said many times, Grey and I started to play Airsoft on 30th December 2012 Wiset started 2 months later and blah blah I knew that my first replica should be an M4 and the veteran players said it should be full metal or I’d break it in 2 days So I bought an APS full metal M4, same as Grey When I used it at home it didn’t work So I changed it for a new one, which also didn’t work So back in the store I change it again, having what was my 3rd replica In that store they told me I can choose another brand So they offered me a plastic G&G, and a full metal Deep Fire Following the advices, I choose the full metal Deep Fire You can see it in our first videos And meh, it was not bad It had a not so bad range and it was realisic, so it was ok Then Wiset bought his first replica, a G&G Advanced Series TGM A5 (an MP5) And it was working better than my M4 After some time I started to feel that my full metal replica was too heavy and the trigger response was a bit slow Then I found a sale on a store, it was that plastic G&G M4 that I didn’t choose before Even if I could see it in other player’s hands, I was doubting when I purchased it online I thought “what the hell am I doing buying a plastic M4?” What I didn’t know is that buying that G&G CM16 Raider in 2013 would be the best purchase I’ve ever done in Airsoft till now And I say this being user of Tokyo Marui and VFC replicas It is not about buying the best replica with the best quality It is about buying what is better for yourself in that moment and for me changing from a full metal M4 to a plastic M4 with a fast trigger response was a good choice and a motivation to continue in this hobby which I can only compare to buying this GoPro camera, and creating this YouTube channel I am not trying to say this is the best replica I’ve ever tried I’m saying that this plastic Raider was a good choice And the tool I was feeling comfortable with, which made me find my style of game Now I can tell you that this channel is like a diary Where we’ll have alwways registered our evolution in this hobby Let’s talk about Capsule Airsoft, 4 persons who are school friends The Matrix, Band of Brothers, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Doom were present when we were teenagers we used to be in the same Cyber playing Counter Strike 1.
3, and we stopped in the 1.6 We started Airsoft together, and now we are four different players Now Wiset enjoys Airsoft firing in the long distances and having a great sense of humour Grey play in MilSims with pro players which clean themselves with baby wipes Burke, he is not Kenny, he is Burke our friend He plays just time to time because he is using his short free time in other things because, let’s remind, this is just a hobby And me, Rhoads, I can admit that I enjoy Airsoft filming and creating videos for entertainment I spent more money in cameras and the channel than in my own gear Till 2 years ago I didn’t clean my replicas because I was a mess And few days ago I found myself enjoying like in the first day Playing and doing my best, because I took my Raider from it’s box again And I was feeling totally comfortable with it It is my replica, and I can feel it After saying this it’s easy to do the same mistake again of saying that maybe this is the best replica for start playing Airsoft And now I think it is an empty recommendation Just based in our experience, and even if I try to put myself on your shoes It wouldn’t work because most probably you’ll be different players Most of you are waiting for a video about what replica to start with and you won’t get that, because we can just give you some indications and the only way to find the way is testing the gear by yourself finding which one is better for you But hey, maybe you’d do whatever you want Being all like “Ok, this guys has more than 80K subs, seems they know about this” “Shut up and take my money” If you want to take this way, it’s even easier, look.
For example The channel of this guy, maybe you don’t know him but many people follows him And look, he’s got a G&G Raider. Totally buy it, in pink color Or you can do what would be better for you in the long term getting information from different sources and opinions Forums or channels, wherever you want And finally not paying too much attention to it because what really matters is what you feel while playing with that replica Because that opinions would be subjective and based in their own experience And even shielded behing the player’s pride Since he is who spent the money in the product This is normal, let’s be honest If you spent more than 200 euros in something, it hard to admit it’s a piece of shit “My replica cost more than 600 euros and it’s glory bro” “And only for 300 euros more it works even better” “But you must be careful, Airsoft is hell of a poison” “I’ve been playing this for many years kiddo” After saying this, we think G&G is a good choice for beginners and medium players By the way, trying to qualify the players depending of their experience in Airsoft and depending of the cost of their gear, is as useless as an asshole right here Is this the normal people? -Yes Look, you represent all that a players would like to be and all that a players ends up being You can do whatever you want with your money, that’s all But being honest, same as with other brands Some G&G replicas were nice, other meh, and others so bad we didn’t want to talk about Let’s talk about it THe Raider from 2013, as we said it was a really good experience Our MP5, the Wiset’s G&G TGM A5 and excellent range, resisntat as a rock and we’re happy with it.
We have 2 The FireHawk, well known but not a big deal for us. You can see it in our video The Raiders with included mosfet in 2015 We were disappointed because it got stuck in semi fire, even during the G&G Tournament That G36C, nice and comfortable The Grey’s TR16 “RECCE Rifle”, awesome even for such an exigent player That Raider GBB, we couldn’t even finish the video because it has gas leaks all the time The Wiset’s GR25, trying to make a DMR with it but spending lots of money in upgrades The this AK with battery integrated in the handguard we filmed it and we didn’t even edit the video because we didn’t like it The ARPs, we love them.
Amazing in CQB, specially the ARP9 Also that M4s in 2016 similar to the Raider Many players said it works great and it also comes with a stock where you can hide some candies inside And now let’s talk about the Raider 2.
0 After our experience with G&G I admit we where a bit skeptic with this We could find out it was just another replica But in the end, the name worths it. Raider 2.0 It remind us a lot to my replica The weight, how it feels when holding it, the trigger response and being able to say “I have something that is low cost and works well” these are feelings that we already had before with my 2013 Raider Going for it, we have here the Raider 2.
0 and the Raider L 2.0E Both with a plastic body, which might feel a bit like a toy But if you’re gentle with it everything would be ok and now I must say that my old Raider is a bit bent because it hit the ground You see this part? is bent But it’s still working The 2.
0 L has a longer inner barrel, electronic trigger, and included mosfet which makes the replica be a bit more ready for the 11’1V batteries Bringing a faster fire response and a higher fire rate All of this with a tinny stock which maybe G&G think it is nice and cool but we think it is not nice, and not cool because it rattles and there’s no room for anything inside dude You can see I didn’t put the lid over the battery housing because I can’t fit it inside.
apart of the aesthetics, we don’t think it’s practical it’s not so comfportable if we compare it with a crane it has slack, feels like a toy and not reliable this is how I must put the battery. -I don’t like this stock, this is too small The stock only has 2 positions, close and open (Something similar happened with the TR16 stock) I was all like “hey this stock is cool” but then.
.. If we look stupind acting like Jumanji’s monkeys is because we were trying to say that most probaly a beginner player won’t feel like thinking if the battery will fit on his first replica So we think that a Crane type stock would be better Apart of this, the Raider L 2.
0E is more pro and expensive the short version is more basic, cheaper and it has a crane style stock Which one we choose? Non of them, but we choose an hybrid We choose the Raider L 2.0E inners, but with the crane stock I think I’ll make a video in our secondary channel where we show how to change the stocks I think this is a good choice for starting 180 euros is not expensive.
-It is expensive if you don’t have much money The 150 euros replicas are shit, but the 200 euros replicas are not the best in the world if this is around 180 euros that’s a good option sometimes the people recommed the replicas just thinking about the upgrades Here you’re not buying a good body, this is plastic and it’s a pitty, because you could change the handguard, a Daniel Defense or a Keymod How long is the inner barrel? Hey it’s long, it’s a good barrel If you paint this you can have a cool body, and later you can change the handguard After one year and a half this replica will keep working.
You won’t have a 200 euros replica more than 3 years At the end it dies and you’d prefer buying a better replica instead of repair this -Negative, before than it dies you’ll already have a new replica because you want more -You’re right.
-That happened to me, my Raider is still working You didn’t change your Raider gear. This muzzle is same as the TR16 but in plastic This replica would look cool with some painting on it Let’s remove the stock and the battery What are you doing Wiset? We’ll change from full auto to 3 rounds burst We connect the battery, we putthe semi fire and we hold the trigger for more than 10 seconds You’ll see a red LED when the system is changing Now I choose the full auto mode And it’s in 3 rounds burst mode And how does this replica work? How is the shooting and the range? The fire response feels amazing, we tried it with 7’4V batteries and obviously with the 11’1V it feels even better Did we do a fire test with targets in 20, 30 and 40 m with different BB weights? No, we didn’t.
Instead of that you’ll see us shooting at that bush More than the fire test, I’d like to test the trigger response A Raider 2.0 Raider L 2.0E, with mosfet and electronic trigger (The Raider with electronic trigger consumed the 7’4V battery very fast, no problem with the 11’1V) This is the first Raider we had, and look how it works You didn’t change the engine.
-I only changed the Hop-Up rubber and the inner barrel No mosfet and no electronic trigger The range is quite good. 30 or 35 effective meters are granted The precision is not amazing, that’s all This is as ambiguous as watching a shooting test in a video and no testing the replica by yourself So I think this works quite well for a replica of this price You’re playing with the Raider 2.
0 short, I’m using the long version I was usign ti with a 11’1V batterie We can say, more or less, that the long version is better than the short I’ve been playing with both, I don’t feel a huge difference The difference comes when you use use a 11’1V batterie instead of a 7’4V I’ve been all the morning playing with it, and my feelings are that it is a light and comfy replica, the engine sound is not nice but it works, works perfectly, playign with a 7’4V it didn’t get stuck in semi fire for a beginner player, if it cost around 180 euros this would be a good choice for those who are starting in Airsoft and want an M4, different mags work well on it the Hop-Up is easy to adjust and it didn’t move during all morning, also easy to disassemble Finally, I want to say the design is great and modern, but the M-LOK rails are not included so if you want to put some accessories you must buy the rails and this is not convenient for the beginner player So in conclusion, G&G Raider 2.
0 Probably a good choice for beginners a light plastic M4 with modern design And for me, a throwback to my early days in this hobbie And yeah, we painted my old Raider with Krylon After 2 years inside the box it just works I filmed a game in which I play with the 2.
0 L and then with my old Raider You’ll see it soon So, friends from G&G, I have no problem in telling you that the best airsoft replica we’ve ever tried is not from your brand but I can’t finish this video without admit that G&G is always in the fields in hands of the casual players and therefore, inevitably, in this channel Thank you all for watching our videos.
Special thanks to G&G Armament and Iberengine Videos filmed between summer 2013 and May 2018 We can’t forget this We could meet the G&G team, they are kind and nice people and open to cooperate and listen to constructive criticism So I let you with what they show us during the IWA 2018 This is the Sub Machine Carbine “9mm” we will release this year This is an adapted GTP9 pistol It is similar to the RONI, but instead of putting all the gun inside It’s hard to remove because this is a prototype I’ll try to disassemble it First we remove the magazine This is the upper This increases the inner barrel of the gun, the RONI doesn’t do so It’s not only aesthetic, it’s functional Ambidextrous, here you can choose the side the gas comes out It’s cool.
-You can make a rifle with a gun We have two. One in semi, and one in auto Most important part, do you have extended magazines? -Yes, also a drum In a pistol you must remove all the slide for adjusting the Hop-Up With this tool here you can adjust the Hop-Up, also in this conversion I have no idea what is going on She’s adjusting the Hop-Up from the barrel The barrel spins and we adjust the Hop-Up You can buy the pistol, and if you want you can also buy the conversion kit This is the pistol we were using in that SMG Carbine You can try it, how it sounds It is a pistol in which you adjust the Hop-Up spinning the barrel You can put the tool in thi housing, so you won’t loose it This is the gun itself, GTP9.
Before we saw the conversion kit This gun is full plastic, what an interesting design The GBB we will release this year It comes with the M-LOK system, so hot right now. Everyone wants M-LOK This design is from G&G, open bolt system It also has the functional bolt catch the sound is amazing, you must try it This is a prototype, the release will be later Ambidextrous safety switch selector in 90 degrees which is faster The magazine GPM92, we have it in 3 colors, TAN, green and black It’s all full metal, inside it has a ceramic valve which scratches the freezing, avoiding the cooling so it resist the low temperatures better Guess how heavy this is? Just 4 kg The box magazine can hold 2400 BBs it uses 2 batteries, can be used in semi or full auto, mosfet included, electronic trigger and also with our favourite stock *wink* yeah because you can’t put the battery right? So we’re saying this is a support replica, similar to Stoner which is actually an M4 with a box but the main point is that it is full plastic.
-Yes, handguard, body and stock made of plastic Even the box magazine is made of plastic Many people don’t play as support because the replica is heavy, it happens to me This is interesting, I am surprised This is more beautiful, the coclor is a bit different Battleship Grey, same as our Predator we have it in 3 colors Did you see how we painted it in red color? -Yes.
.. why red? What did you do? Why you painted it in red Kenny? Red?
