Hello everyone and welcome to this new airsoft video review ! Until now, we always many versions of Colt 1911 A1, but we had many things to reproach. Today, I’ll present you an almost perfect airsoft gun (about the external).
I present the new evolution of the Colt 1911 A1 100th anniversary of Cybergun: Colt 1911 A1 parkerized. In 2012 was sold the Colt 1911 A1 100th anniversary. It contained very good features but had some defects in realism, besides having excessive power.
There is not the only one Colt 1911 A1, but all the versions have different realism problems. In the other versions of Colt 1911 A1 available, we have, in bulk, the Marui, very nice but not in metal and with not realistic markings.
The Tercel, a copy of the Marui in metal, but with the same markings as the Marui We have the KJWorks with a magazine that requires a heel for the CO2 capsule, so it’s ugly. Then we have the WE, doesn’t have the good ejection window (and many other problems) We also have the version from CS/Bell, very awful, the markings are barely engraved, and not always realistic.
And then the Inokatsu: there were several versions, not always realistic too. It was very expensive, and works with magazines from KJ Works, with the heel. So: fail for the realism. Other may exist, from WA for example, but I don’t know if a WW2 version exist, and they are in ABS, and expensive.
Cybergun had made a version derived from the 100th anniversary called “D-Day version”, which I have already presented to you. We add 100€ for a sample of sand, a .45 ACP case and a dog tag, I don’t know if it’s worth it.
I can’t judge. For info, the sand at Juno Beach was very good. With a little APS2 in seasoning, it was famous! We were able to revisit the cuisine of the WW2 by appropriating this unusual recipe based on knowledge of the terroir.
Anyway, it was very interesting for collectors. Like me. But not for your wallet. There was also a more expensive version: The BASTOGNE version, released for the 70th birthday of the battle of the bulge.
The problem with this replica is we take again the KWC base, we remove the markings (very good) We’ll add a parkerization like this, and we add… fantastic markings, just for collectors. For collectors, it’s good, for the players, it’s not, because the price was 400€ with the complete package.
Limited editions with 500 exemplars. As I am rich, I bought it. Shit. 400 € for that, SHIT! Yes, I’m so stingy that I’ve found the image on Google images, I’ve not bought the biscuits! So, misters from Cybergun, why having called this version “100th anniversary, parkerized version”, would it be a problem when we’ll type it on Google? We’ll easily find the first version! Why having not called it with an other name? It is called “parkerised grey” because there is a grey paint that is more realistic than the first version.
Is it really a paint? When we see the sides, we can see the paint is removed by places. If we see it in details, we can see the aluminium color at one place: here. We can compare the grey with the wonderful color of the 1st version.
It looks like the Marui! Marui has very well worked. Materials are the same as for the first version: so we have the same weight: 930g. (with magazine and CO2 cartridge engaged) => I’ve just switched the magazine from a gun to the other for weighing Because yes, the old magazines are compatible with the new! Where I’m very happy to have this version, and it worth the price: 130€: the markings are well engraved and realistic at 90%! We’ll never reach 100% for an international replica, because we have the “F” for the german market.
To see it’s an airsoft gun. For “falsch” perhaps? If you know the meaning, please tell it me in the comments! At last the markings are realistic, and well engraved. Here you can sand your gun to get it silver, your markings will stay! If we compare with the markings from Marui, the KWC version is a little coarser.
It’s normal, Marui has ABS materials. We find the Colt on the breech. Yes it’s a colt, not a horse! GHB here. Euuuh… GHD sorry, P, United states property, the serial number, which is not realistic. We have a letter, it doesn’t existe on the real gun, and it’s a serial NUMBER, not a serial CODE.
If I make a mistake, correct me! The serial number are different on each replicas. So you buy two Colt, you’ll have TWO numbers. That’s cool! For the F letter, it’s still better to have this, rather the orange tip.
“I don’t know the orange tip. I only know a RED TIP!” This time, the “made in taiwan” is not engraved on the replica, it’s written on the box. Now talk about the box. Yes, it’s the box. Honnestly? I find it’s cool! The same format as the original.
I only have to add the serial number. My shop didn’t write it, perhaps other will do it! On the other side, we have all the informations about the airsoft gun. On the slide, we have the barcodes and Made in Taiwan, and the last slide is virgin.
Strauss Kahn will like it. Inside, we have almost the same type of box: it’s rustic. We have a bags of BB’s, an adapator for silencers. Other problem of realism on this gun: there is a screw thread at the end of the barrel.
Not a big problem, we don’t see it. And it’s possible to adapt a silencer on the gun. And we have the same traditional Allen Key than for the previous versions. So one more key in the collection. And the gun was placed into a plastic bag.
I’ve not kept it because I’m not stupid! The magazine included has also a grey paint, and it’s stronger than the older version. I’ve a little played with (in my bedroom, because I’ve no friends) and it’s still there! Whereas the other KWC magazines, the paint doesn’t stay, like on the replica ! As you can see here, the first version, and the last version ! We find the same screw below It’s to know there were stickers with “MADE IN TAIWAN” and “1,5 JOULES MAX” and I’ve naturally removed them! At the reception, it will be necessary to lubricate before being able to spit anything.
TITLE! What does mean “title”? that you just said, it would make an excellent movie title! dumbass… The original pads are made of plastic. Not embarrassing, those of the time being in Bakelite also.
It will be possible, but nevertheless not necessarily easy, to adapt wooden plates on this model. Be careful to take wooden pads with diamonds. It will just be necessary to dig the base so that the CO2 cartridge can pass.
TITLE! Small detail that will be appreciated by some. Others, like me, find it useless: safety has a slight red dot on the breech, which will be hidden if the safety is engaged. Red = it shoots. No need to look for the small red dot to see if the replica is ready to shoot or not.
.. Otherwise, same concern as for the 1911 Colt’s first 100th birthday version: no need to cock the breech to fire a shot after cocking the hammer. TITLE! After the hammer has this position, don’t disarm the hammer manually, otherwise you can kick it.
So to secure your gun, remove the magazine, pull the trigger, it’s empty, I know it’s not cool, and you insert the magazine again. To push a little more the realism, we have 1 axis that is simulated on the carcass.
It should be real. But it’s not grave, the 2 others axis are real. The sighting organs are fixed. As on the original model. Otherwise it would give something like this: Otherwise, the controls are standard at all 1911’s, with the breech stop which serves as the bolt locking lever, magazine button is also functional.
The safety lever, useless to tell you, works perfectly… And the beaver tail works on the trigge… Neo, if you have nothing in more to tell, leave out. Useless to speak in the void, you’re not a policy or a seller.
Hum… So let’s go for the shooting test.
