Thanks to them ! Hello YouTube and welcome to this new unboxing video ! Today I unbox an enormous box, I don’t know if from this camera angle you can really realise It comes from Japan, from the shop Impulse101 If this box is really big it’s because there is an AEG inside, but not only, I have also bought several other things The AEG is the HK416 Devgru Custom Tokyo Marui Everything is very well protected, as usual with Impulse101 Reinforced with local news paper, how exotic So here is the HK416 And here are other things Those are HK417 Marui midcap magazines And we have also this, I’ll talk more about this in a minute Let’s unbox this HK416 As usual you get the Tokyo Marui blue ribon, it always feel like unwraping a gift to me Here is another layer of bubbles Marui guns are well displayed and well protected in their boxes So we have the gun, a 82 bbs midcap magazine, a front grip, a silencer That’s the specific packaging of the HK416D “Devgru Custom” It’s not the same than the “HK416D” I bought at its release It has a different stock, different grip, different sights, different flash hider You also had no accessories, but a barrel extension On the Devgru custom you have this flash hider allowing you to quickly put the silencer on You also have this adapter which allows you to charge the specific batteries of this gun In theory this gun uses indeed specific batteries that you put inside the stock here This is why I have bought this other item, in order to not be forced to use those specific batteries Let’s put the silencer.
.. And the front grip also… So here is the HK416D “Devgru Custom” Tokyo Marui I have no idea if this is actually a realistic “Devgru custom” or not Probably that experts could say that this has nothing to do with a “Devgru custom”, I’m not sure The only thing I can say is that I do like how this gun is equiped here With the tango down type grip, the front grip, the silencer, the crane stock You also get a sling mount, which is not the case of the other HK416 from Marui And for those of you who don’t know Tokyo Marui EBBR, so, this in an AEG, which works with a battery But compared to other AEG it gets a few other features You have blowback, which means that the fake bolt moves a bit every time you shoot You have recoil shock, which means that inside the stock tube you have a moving weight which gives you a bit of inertia each time you shoot You have the bolt stop function, which means that once the very last bbs of the magazine is fired The gun stops shooting, and in order to shoot again you have to insert a fresh mag full of bbs and push the bolt catch It mimicks, in a more or less realistic way, how you would manipulate a real assault rifle All those features give you a bit more fun when you use the gun on the field However you have to pay for all those features, the gun is indeed quite expensive I don’t remember exactly the price, but it’s around 500 €, check the video description for that One of the main feature of most of the M4 like EBBR from Tokyo Marui is the proprietary battery system As I was saying earlier those battery go inside the stock and you have no connector and no wires inside the stock The electrical contact is made by metal stick, from the battery to those connector here on the stock tube Problem of the system is, well, that it is proprietary, it forces you to buy specific nimh 8.
4V batteries Another problem is that the two metal stick allowing the electrical contact between the battery and the stock tubes aren’t good Which is why I bought this thing, which name is “option n°1”, I’m not sure to understand what the name of this thing is supposed to be You can see those two golden bars here, they will replace the original metal sticks of the gun And they also come with a standard mini tamiya connector, which means you’ll be able to use standard batteries as well So this accessorie gives you two advantages : you can get the battery you want and you get a better electrical contact If you plan to buy a M4 type Tokyo Marui EBBR which uses this battery system, I strongly recommend to buy one of this thing too Ding Chavez made a nice video of this accessorie, so don’t hesitate to take a look It’s not very difficult to install, which is also why I bought this model in particular So, why did I bought this gun considering I already bought the other HK416D at its release ? Well, I sold the HK416D Tokyo Marui and that’s a gun I regreted selling Since I already own the Scar L, the Scar H, I was thinking that owning so many EBBR Marui was a bit too much That’s pretty much it, I don’t think I have really anything else to say about this Be aware that the gun has fun features, but you have to pay for them The question is, are you willing to pay this kind of money for “just” those features ? And also, ask yourself the question, “is it a gun I’ll want to upgrade” ? Most of the inside is specific, it can be difficult to upgrade this gun, both because the specific upgrade parts are hard to find And also because this is harder to upgrade than a regular AEG As far as I’m concerned I have no intention to upgrade anything, apart from the battery system Maybe I’ll change the inner barrel, the motor, but that’s it Out of the box the gun is about 300 FPS, which is perfect for CQB And the out of the box performances are already very reasonnable, they seem to be enough to me That’s pretty much it I guess, of course I’ll make a shooting video for this gun, you’ll see the kick, the performances, etc I’ll say that now : I’ll make the video with this accessorie installed I’ll precise that in the shooting video again but I already say that to you See you next time for the shooting video and thanks for watching !
